Changing, But Remaining the Same

I currently have my issues with the J man,

but I still love God deep down

I may have problems with Orthodoxy,

but I maintain a relationship with God

Dang, he's got me again

He's within me, I can't escape him.

But I believe in science, that it's real

and can be a guiding principle

Nothing is black and white I guess

What captured your heart in the beginning?

Go with that.

Though we change as humans, we evolve,

the core of us doesn't change

I wonder if I'm changing though.

My life has been turned upside down,

but I still have more life to live!
