Do I know Love?

Sitting in my room right now on a Tuesday night, I'm thinking about the nature of love. If I claim to know God, I must know how to love, for God is Love. No other religion claims that God is Love and to love our enemies. My faith journey has been shaped by holy people I've come across on my path, and the common theme is that these people, these saints of God, have been set a part to love God and love people. And I've been blessed to know them. My journey has also been of searching, of "trying on", seeing how different things feel. Curiosity is healthy to an extent. But Jesus says that once we taste of "living water" we will never thirst again. He is the Living Water. I have so many more questions than answers. Why am I the one in my family to hold these truths and questions and contemplations in my heart? When I have the evil thought that I'm not chosen by God, a dear friend reminded me that I'm already chosen as I've been baptized. That blessed me and I hope that blesses you, the reader. May the God of Love bless you.
