I had a dream a few nights ago that I was telling the local bishop that I wanted to be chaplain because life is beautiful, I wanted to emulate the life of St.Porphyrios who was a chaplain, and I wanted to comfort people and share in their struggles because I've gone thru doubt myself.

My friend Jessica then sent a text message to me that said: "Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed." - Proverbs 16:3

I think I want to be a chaplain/pastor. I feel like I am suited for this with my life experiences. I will take my understanding of mental health and counseling, theology, religion and Orthodoxy with me to help others. I will get to know my congregation and be there for them. I can preach the gospel. I can write books. I can teach. I can counsel. I can bless others.
